The work culture is a result of these decisions. The organizational structure determines the behaviours, attitudes and ethics of the organisation which help to create the work culture of the organisation (Hersey & Blanchard, 1969). Both Organizational structure and culture have a significant impact on organization performance and provide a competitive advantage to the organisation. If the organizational structure is hierarchical with decision-making power centralized at the top, there will be a lack of freedom and autonomy at the lower levels in the organisation.
