Employability skills are the skills which are very important for the employees so that they can grow and prosper at a faster rate in their career. These skills include leadership, effective communication, interpersonal skills, etc. working in a team is very challenging which requires high level of skills and responsibilities. (need, 2015) There are different types of responsibilities which I have to fulfill because I am the part of the organisation. In an organisation many people work together in teams in order to achieve their defined objectives but people working for the same goals are different and they have different way of thinking and behavior and because of these differences many clashes occurs among the different members of the team but a good manager can handle all the situations well and develop the solutions to these problems. (Lowden, Hall, & Lewin, 2011) Problem solving process is followed when the solutions are applied to the problems:
First of all, the problems of the employees are identified.
Secondly, the needs of the employees are realized.
Thirdly, possible solution are listed
And finally, the best solution is selected from the list which will solve the problem.
One of the biggest problems which can occur at the workplace is the employee’s dissatisfaction because of high pressure of work and low payment. (Technology, 2015) The employees are the essence of any organisation and if they are satisfied and motivated, they will give their best to the organisation but the reasons like low income to the employees, very high pressure of work, no appraisals and absence of motivation bring dissatisfaction in the employees and they face many physical and mental problems because of this. (need, 2015)
The following solutions are developed to solve these problems mentioned above:
Regular meetings: Regular meetings should be conducted with the employees so that they can all discuss the current issues and the solution can be developed then and there. In meetings, employees can share their problems without any hesitation. (Lowden, Hall, & Lewin, 2011)
List out the solutions: When the meetings are held or the interactive session takes place between the employees and the managers, the variety of problems come in the knowledge of the management which are faced by the employees, so with the consent of all, the adequate solutions can be developed which can be used to solve all the problems.
Using the solutions: The list of the solutions is developed to the problems faced by the employees and after finding the solutions, it is now the time to apply those solutions. So, appropriate solution is applied to the problem. (need, 2015)
Take the follow up: After applying the solution, it is not necessary that the problems will be solved, so a proper and regular follow-up is required so that the progress of the application of the solution to the problem can be measured and by this the problem will not occur again in the future.
