This report introduces with the concept of successful implementation of a project management plan. Various characteristics of the Verdant Leisure company have been given in the report below. The concept of customer client relationship has been explained in the report given below. Theoretical frameworks of the development of the project plan have also been explained in the report given below. Methodologies which led to the successful implementation of project management plan have also been discussed in the report given below. Teams assignment and management of each and every individual have been given in the report given below. Construction of a plan is done which would give all the advantages, disadvantages, risks and solutions which would lead to the development of the project. Measuring and controlling the risks, quality, change, and configuration are also explained in the report given below. Success points of the project and the failures of the project are also given and explained in the report given below.
Project definition, characteristics and role of project manager
The project given in the following report is to manage the working, handling the characteristics, and operating and managing a team for a tourism company known as verdant leisure company. Verdant leisure company helps in ensuring leisure places like homes, rooms, and hotels to the individuals. Tourists arriving in the Verdant Leisure are provided with facilities like holiday parks, Homes and houses to stay, holiday room packages for individuals, catering services, good food, and various miscellaneous facilities like swimming pool, go karting, and mountaineering are also provided in the package which is presented by the Verdant Leisure company.
To attract tourist from different places to the Verdant Leisure company, proper marketing skills are needed and teams should be evaluated who can help in attracting tourists to the company. Packages are updated and modified and better offers are provided to the individual so that one can enjoy their holidays and the company also remains in profit.
Characteristics of the given project can be explained as all the positives and the good offers which are provided by the Verdant Leisure company to the tourists or the individuals visiting the holiday parks and rooms. The different characteristics of the tourism company known as Verdant Leisure company can be given as:
Service: The services which are provided to the tourists or the customers should be attractive, and good. Services like clean rooms and washrooms, good package for the holiday parks, pleasure for children, and good food should be provided (Mak, Cheung, and Hui, 2017).
Requirements: Regular and basic requirements of the customers visiting the holiday parks or the rooms should be fulfilled by the company. Performance of the workers, and costing of the tour should be manageable for the tourists attending the park.
Expectations: The package which is promised to the customer and the stakeholders through online booking or by sales individuals should be available. The basic expectations of the individuals should be met by the company.
Environment: The basic environment which was promised to the customers or the clients visiting the tourist spot should be fulfilled by the company. Quiet and calm environment should be provided to the customers and the clients.
Planning: Pre-planning and basic itinerary of the entire place and the daily offers should be given to the individuals before their holidays. Distribution of maps and basic objectives should be done by the Leisure company.
Outcome oriented: The following project plan which is given to the customer should be fulfilled by the company before its implementation so that the trip or the holidays of the individuals is fruitful and company reputation is also increased.
The management of the entire project of tourism is handled by the project manager. The project manager is assigned various tasks and one of the most tiring and complex job is that of the project manager. The role of the project manager can be explained with the points given below:
The entire planning of the project is done by the project manager. The plan to achieve basic aims and objectives of the leisure company like Verdant is done by the project manager of the firm.
Short term, medium term and long-term goals are projected and achieved by the project manager. Tasks like room servicing, better bathrooms and washrooms, and good food is done and allocated by the project manager.
Different teams are constructed and communication between the various teams is handled and managed by the project manager of the leisure company like Verdant. Connectivity between different individuals is maintained by the project manager.
Identification and analysis of different individuals for different teams is done by the project manager. Performance rate and work rate of the different individuals are also judged by the project manager of the Verdant Leisure company.
At times of urgency, all the decisions are taken by the project manager. When the stock of food is poor and the room is not clean, project manager needs to make fast decisions to improve the working of the teams before the client arrives (MacKenzie, and Gannon, 2019).
Developing work ethics and motivation in the mind of the different individuals is also done with the help of project manager. Meetings, quoting, and inspirational work ethics are also transferred among the teams by the project manager of the Leisure company like Verdant.
Project management framework in a Leisure company like verdant can be explained as the given planning done by the project manager and the assistance given to the individuals of different teams to increase the productivity of the leisure company like Verdant. Every process and operation of the entire project can be given with the help of project management framework.
There are three stages while defining any project framework which can be given as:
Length of the project and the time required to complete the project.
Controlling of each tasks and process happening in the project.
Different tools and techniques used to execute the process.
Various applications of the project management framework are present which can be classified and categorised into given points given below:
A theoretical project management framework helps in developing consistency between the individuals as the plan is provided before handed. The main focus is to attract tourist which is done and given in the following framework (Herrera et-al, 2018).
The main aims and objectives of the Verdant leisure company are clarified by the project framework which is implemented and given to all the individuals of different teams.
Connection with different other Leisure companies can also be done with the help of a well-managed project framework. This can help attract tourist and expand business, it is very useful for the verdant leisure company.
The tasks and processes of management which is assigned by the project manager to the individual is also managed successfully by the Verdant Leisure company. Continuation in different works of the individual is maintained.
Tourist relationship with the leisure company like Verdant is also increased as good services is provided. Communication with customer as well as the team members can also be influenced by the application of the project management framework.
The basic methodologies which is used by the project manager for the implementation of every project framework plan and to achieve various objectives and aims of the Leisure company like verdant are large in number. Some of the methodologies are:

The basic application of the above methodology is progress of the Leisure company. Progress can be noticed in Verdant if the given methodology is used correctly.
Expansion of business by collaboration and by opening sub-companies can be done with the help of this methodology (Mtapuri, Giampiccoli, and Mnguni, 2020).
Balance between each team and the project manager is maintained if the projects in controlled environment is applied and implemented correctly.
Working quality of various individuals in different teams can be increased if the given methodology is used correctly. Rooms are kept clean, and holiday packages with great offers can be provided to the individuals.
Better plans with great implementation can be included by the project manager and then distributed to the team members if the given methodology is used correctly.
Any positive and negative risk occurring to the Verdant Leisure company can be identified and verified before the implementation of the plan.
Verdant Leisure company can become adaptable to the individuals visiting the hotel if the methodology is applied successfully. On every season the park can be converted into a theme park.
One of the most important aspect which give success to Verdant Leisure company was the proper management of different teams present in the project. Teams are created of different individuals specialising in different fields. Team management should be done with utmost concentration. Composition of teams involves the following procedures which can be given as:
Tourist attraction and providing them with best services is the main aim of the Verdant Leisure company. Different teams are made which involves different tasks like cleaning is assigned to a particular team, food servicing is assigned to one team, and allocation of room to another. Each team is assigned with a task and the delivery can be done within very less time.
Stakeholders are given the entire information so that activity of each team is seen by the stakeholders. Every piece of information regarding the activities performed by each team should be given to the stakeholders of the Verdant leisure company (Saito, and Ruhanen, 2017).
Performance of each individual should be kept an eye on and task should be segregated according to the specialisation of the individual. Communication should be maintained as it helps in maintaining good team work.
Communication between each member of the team should be maintained as it helps in providing better quality of work. Connectivity between each member of the team helps in providing better quality of work to the individuals.
Team management also comprises of various terms which helps them complete the process or the task within the deadline. The main composition of team management can be divided into:
Connectivity: If any project is assigned to a team, various task are divided among the members. Reporting deadline is also set to complete the task. Every information is forwarded to the team leader which maintains the integrity of the project.
Leadership: Qualities like leadership is developed among the individuals of the verdant leisure company. This makes team members more motivated and confident to finish the task.
Work rate: Work rate of each team member from the individual to the team leader can be managed if the work rate is managed. Performance of every individual is managed.
Creativity: Major ideas about improving the conditions of each team member is heard. This makes the individuals more creative. Functioning of the teams increase by getting new and creative ideas.
Assistance: Assistance is provided to each team member. If someone is ill or sick, another team mate can support the other and take the other individual’s work load. Support is very necessary which is provided if the teams are managed successfully (Campon-Cerro, Folgado-Fernandez, and Hernandez, 2017).
To successfully obtain the objectives and aims of the Verdant Leisure company the following project management plan is implemented which explains:
Teams are assigned by the higher officials of the Verdant leisure company and teams are assigned with different team leaders. Management of teams are done by the team leaders and the management of the team leaders are done by a manager. This hierarchy is followed and proper management of each team is done. Management of each and every department is done under the supervision of senior officials of the Verdant Leisure company (Alburquerque, Costa, and Martins, 2018).
Planning of the entire holiday park is done. Amusement parks are created, holiday package is given, food service is provided, proper clean rooms are given with a restroom. Every task is planned and managed by the individuals. Planning is done by the senior most panel of the verdant Leisure company and every advantage and disadvantage of the project is taken out.
Organisation of every task is done and deadline is setup for each and every task. Every task is completed and deadline is met which explains every work done by each individual in completing the project assigned by the Verdant leisure company. Risks like less tourist attraction and under average selling is sent to the risk analysing team of the Verdant Leisure company so that proper solution to each risk is taken out.
Each and every basic requirement of the client is satisfied by the Verdant Leisure company. Every need of the individual working in the teams are also fulfilled by the superiors of each and every team. Finances of the entire project is also maintained and given to the financial team of the Verdant Leisure company so that the project remains under budget.
A deadline is setup for each and every individual of the different teams present in the Verdant Leisure company. Every deadline is met by the individuals of the different teams so that the fluency of work is maintained so that it can be completed before the deadline. Team leaders report forward and checking of every work done by the individuals of every team. This helps in achieving every aim and objectives assigned by the superior officials to the individuals (Rodrigues, and Virtudes, 2019).
If money is invested in a project, then risks will be generated. To minimise the risk or control the risks is the task management team can provide. Risk identifying and analysing teams are assigned this team. Financial risks are controlled by providing more stakeholders to the teams of the verdant leisure company (Burrai, Mostafanezhad, and Hannam, 2017).
Cleaning of rooms is assigned to one team, catering to other, and booking holiday parks to the third. Finances are managed by the finance team of the Verdant Leisure company. Quality of the services are checked by the quality manager of the Verdant Leisure company. Quality is one of the most important characteristics which should be controlled by the management team.
Change is the most balanced perspective of the market. Change is permanent, sometimes the management team might find it difficult to adapt change. Sometimes tourist might arrive at off-season, sometimes the staff might be on a holiday and a large number of tourists arrives on the same day. Training is given to the individuals to segregate work load when there is a need for it by the trainers of the Verdant Leisure company. At times of holiday, freelancers should be hired and the work should be assigned to them. This would help in completing the task.
Teams are assigned according to the specialisation of the individuals. If an individual is specialised in finances then the particular individual is assigned to the finance department. Similarly, each and every individual is assigned according to the specialisation. Each task is assigned a particular deadline which leads to the completion of task according to the deadline. The entire project is based on tasks arranged in a particular order and if damaged some individuals are handed extra workload and extra pay for that particular work (Mestanza-Ramon, 2019).
The project success points can be concluded and divided into following parts:
Proper management of each and every team led to the success of the project. Each and every task was divided among the individuals. Team leaders handled the operations of their particular properly. As a project manager, the delivery of the various tasks made it simple for the delivery of the entire project.
Planning of the entire project before handed was another objective which was achieved by the different team leaders of the teams. Blueprint of every task is prepared and then it is applied.
Leadership qualities of the project manager and the team member helped in motivating each and every individual of every team to complete the project in the given deadline (Dong, and Jin, 2020).
Proper construction of the budget was another important aspect which helped in increasing the working of the project. Finances were maintained properly and the entire budget was maintained.
Marketing of the entire project was done very properly as each and every individual was assigned a job to do digital marketing as well as field marketing about the offers provided by the Verdant leisure company to the customers.
The budget created at the start of the project was not very clear which led to some problems in the starting of the project. After making the budget once or twice along with the revised conditions the budget was completely perfected.
Holidays created some work pressure on the individuals. This is also created a setback, but team leaders handled the situation and the work was segregated and extra pay cut was given to the individuals who worked at holidays.
Individuals who were assigned sometimes did not follow the deadline which led to the delay in work at some stages of time (Choi et-al, 2017).
This report concludes with proper implementation of the project management plan in the Verdant Leisure company. This company provided vacation spot to the tourists as well as rooms, holiday parks and catering service to the individual. The characteristics of this project and the role of the project manager is also explained in the report given above. Composition of each team and the composition of team management is also given in the report given above. Project management plan is also given in the report given above.
