INTRODUCTION

This report will be discussing the logistics of the operation and how the company have been facing issues related to the value chain of the organization. This will elaborate the deep understanding that the software of the company has been facing certain issues related to the management of the logistics in its performance and therefore a change requirement is identified to be persuaded and applied to it (Mangla et al., 2019). To change the certain requirements there will be proper planning of the project and the changes will be recorded and initiated to keep the functioning of the company practices in alignment, and the management of the company get enhances. This report will be discussed with the help of the company, Autologic. The company is registered as one of the top known vehicle logistic company and was founded in the year 1997. It has been registered under the London Stock Exchange market. The company is known for its high-quality management in its performance and providing the best of their services to the manufacturers of the car (Logisticsuk.org, 2021).



PROBLEM STATEMENT

The problems that are identified in the company is project management through the logistics and the model is required to be updated for better working of the company and to make the management of the services get registered under smooth functionality. The problem which has been currently identified in the company is the poor structure of the logistics software the software has been creating problems in the functioning of the company and there has been generating the miscommunication in the management of supply chain and the customer satisfaction with those services is getting decreased. The management of the vehicles also gets affected due to improper management of the software and disturbed supply chain of Autologic.

AIM

The main aim of the report is to provide a new development plan for the software of the logistics and operation of the company, Autologic which will help the company to enhances its growth and business with smooth functioning.

OBJECTIVES`

To upgrade the functioning of the logistics software

To enhance the growth of the company by 10%

To accomplish the change in the models in the upcoming 2 months



PROJECT METHOD

This plan is prepared to make the plan which is to be initiated in the company get approved by the stakeholders of the company and to make it authorized that the plan will proceed in the manner which has been specified and identified in the presentation. This plan is the management of the functioning of the logistics software in the company and to improve its functionality. Various practices and exercise will be entitled to enhance the performance of the software’s

SCOPE OF PROJECT

The scope of the project is to examine the factors, which will help in identifying the Autologic department for logistics, which will be attained through observing the functioning of supply chain and the functionality of the business. The project will help in identifying the points which will help the company in accommodating the factors where the performance of the company is being decreased and where it could be improved. The change in the logistic software model of the company will help to keep the proper and fluent relations of the customers with the company and also improve the supply chain of the company. This will result in better vehicle registration and keeping the information of the vehicle that is being transported in the proper record of management (Ding et al., 2021).

BACKGROUND OF THE RESEARCH

The logistics are essential in the company for meeting the required goals of the company and to keep the record on the activities of the supply chain. This report will be discussing the importance of the logistics software in Autologic and how it will upgrade its operation logistics software as to keep the management of the activities in the company more organized (Sharawi and Sammour, 2017). Also, to keep the company advanced with the systems of the management to meet the goal of the organization.

RISKS

The risks which are allocated with the change in the models are the time which is currently planned could go off the limits which would result in delivering the complete change in the model differed from the allotted period (Porcaro et al., 2018). There are more threats, which could results in having a direct impact on the implementation of the new model, some of the impacts could be seen as more disappointment in the network issues, the defect in the functionality of the model. More number of costs will also be involved in implementing the new software model of logistics in the company. The organization has come up with some of the circumstances, which would keep the company more acknowledged about these risks which are to be coming in the company for identifying the results in the better format (Porcaro et al., 2018).

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Autologic is the company, which has been identified to be as the most known, and the largest company to be identified as the largest vehicle finished company in logistics in Europe and the UK. The company officially came into existence back in the year 1996, is known for delivering the products with high quality and generating its services to the manufacturers of car, and to those who hire the dealers and the hire companies for granting their services (Logisticsuk.org, 2021). The company holds the role to deliver the bespoke solutions to the customers and attain to their requirements. This has been identified from the report of the company that Autologic has been recording and initiated the up-gradation features in their company as to meet the improved relations of the company with its customers and this will also help the company to improve their market growth with their improved presences in the market.

COST AND TIME INVOLVED IN THE PROJECT

To improve in the functionality of various researches this is pretty obvious there would be involvement of the cost and time to identify the circumstances which are to be coming in the company and to measure what could be risks involved in completing the quality work (Biesinger et al., 2018). The table has been presented below which will demonstrate the descriptive understating of the costs which will be occurring in the company to implement the new model of logistics software:

COMMUNICATION AND CONTROL

The process of communication is done to measure the overall management of the project and to keep the functioning of the cycle in the proper record. The communication and control in the project are to ensure that the needs of the stakeholders have also been accomplished and the needs for the information have been delivered in the required manner. The process of control helps in managing the communication and keep the functioning of the process of the plan in a smooth way with identifying the results, which are acknowledged and required to be attained by the company (Khalifa, 2021). The managers of the plan are accommodated towards the plan and the evaluation of the project is reviewed accordingly, this helps in attaining that the set performance objective has been met and are attained with the results which are as planned and desired by the company.

The management of communication helps in making the work get running smoothly and fluently in the company. The complete detail about the system and the change, which is to be recorded in the company, is accessed with the help of effective observation and analysis of the plan required to be accomplished with the set objectives and plan of the company (Khalifa, 2021).

PLANNING

The project manager of the logistic department will hold the complete responsibility to look into the functioning of the plan of the new logistic software, which will be placed in the company, the plan will be accommodated and planned with the proper initialization of the work.

Work breakdown structure is performed to meet the characteristics and the exercise of the complete research and to meet the points and the factors which have been recorded and analyzed in the middle of the complete research (lsye et al ., 2018).

LEADERSHIP

The company has been running under the leadership and the general manager of the company as Joseph Fiorentino, he is responsible to see the operation s of the company in North America and will have the focus on growing the sales of the company. Under Joseph leadership in the company, he has the wide background from the sales and management experiences who have to encourage the performance of the company by increasing the stakeholder engagement in the company (Staff et al., 2021). There are various kinds of leadership style, which could be explained, yet the leadership style, which has been used by the leader of the company, is Authoritative leadership style where the leader is clear with his set expectations and is counted among one of the confident leaders.

Joseph is said to be clear and loud with his expectations and is focused on attaining the profitable revenue for the growth of the company. The leadership style of the manager of the organization is also attained with the complete creativity which encompasses the emerging and efficiency of the team members working in the company and has proper leadership skills. This was attained out from the report that Joseph attains all the qualities to be the good leader and suite the capability of deserving the post he is on (Staff et al., 2021). The leader also has its bold past which gives the acknowledgement to the post and relishes the company to have the great leader assigned in the company to accomplish the goals that have been planned.

The stakeholders are known to be the one who is the third parties and are interested in the company. They are also acknowledged about their impact on the company and how they could be affected by the performance of the company in the market (Boaz et al., 2018). The stakeholders of the company could be anyone either the employees or the leaders of the company or the suppliers or any other person who is not part of the company. The stakeholders are those which are affected and have a direct impact on the decisions on the company.

There are various tools which are required to be taken in the record to make the functioning of the work in the right and the appropriate manner. There is the usage of various tools to keep the functioning of these tools to get appropriate in the performance of the work, which has been assigned, and which best suits the managers of the project. These tools help the managers to assist on the work which is to be accomplished and assisted by them (Ram et al., 2019). It helps in making the management of the plan in more discipline and in the appropriate way. The tools which have been used in this research is aligned to be as Agile tool which will be the best suite the manager of the project to manage the plan which has been initiated for the up-gradation of the logistics software in the company.

The tool will help in accommodating the best-suited principles and values for completing the planned project in the company and will help in attaining the creative solutions in the work. This tool is created and developed for managing the development of the software tools and that it is initiated by the manager and the leader of the company to make the measurable features get practical and clear in fostering the development and bringing the change in the development of the software (Ram et al., 2019).

The tool will help in provoking the relation of the company with the customers and boos the plan of the company by negotiation and customer collaboration. The app helps in continuous delivery to the customers and the delivery of the cars and providing efficient services to the customers could be outlined with the help of the agile tool. The company currently is facing the issues related to the logistic software that the company could not keep the record of the supply chain efficiencies and speed to the connections gets disabled which results in poor performance and week facility of the company to its customers (Ram et al., 2019). The improper and the old software of the company also create difficulties in managing the problems and there is wireless instability which breaks the connection of the company with the updated list of the services and the products. This factor will be immensely removed from the functioning of the software when the software will be developed with the help of the agile tool.

BENEFITS OF USING THE AGILE TOOL IN AUTOLOGIC

The tool will remove the threat to disconnect the information of the software’s from its stakeholders; the tool will help in developing a strong connection between the developers and the stakeholders of the company. The tool also helps in keeping the spirit boosted and enhanced the team, which has been involved in the participation and the usage of the software (Raith et al., 2017). This tool and up-gradation of the software will also help in keeping the logistics software updated from time to time and enable the pace of continuous development in the delivery of the work. The change and up-gradation in the logistics software are more of the complex procedure and the tool will help in delivering the projects, which holds the complex procedures. Autologic with the help of these tools framework as Kanban and scrum which are most known for delivering the functionality of the services and the products being offered by the company. These frameworks will help the team and the project members are more aware of the events occurring and the planning which is accommodated to meet the deadlines in the attained period (Raith et al., 2017).

The above risks could leave an impact on the performance of the current software development and up-gradation as the technologies which will be currently used are not measured on the large background and therefore their impact on the performance of the employees could not be measured. This will leave a direct impact on the performance of the company and also keeping the stakeholders be the part of the discussion if the new development fails to meet the expectations of the stakeholders it could reflect as the risk factor for Autologic (Porcaro et al., 2018). The organizational issues are to be solved on the ground itself yet if its results start to be shown on the software it could result as a difficult aspect for the company to meet the planned outputs and this would reflect in the risk factor for the performance of the company. The organization would prepare the slotted time which will be required to complete the complete project and to accomplish software's in the company the date set might get changed and the completion of the delivery status of the services might get late. This could act as another risk factor for the company to get passed off their deadline (Porcaro et al., 2018).



CONCLUSION

This report was discussed to elaborate on the problems that were being faced by the company, Autologic due to the software of logistic. There was a complete detail explanation provided about the company in the report and how the change was efficient and essential to be required in the company. The new model was suggested in the report which will help the company to make the functionality of the business get smooth and functioning in a better format. There was detail elaboration of the problem statement in the report followed by attaining and identifying the aims and objectives of the report. The project method and its plan were observed further by analyzing the scope of the project, the background of the research. This research also identified the risks that were related to the models which are upgraded and included the cost and time involvement to complete the project.

The report also had the work breakdown structure and the Gantt chart followed by the communication plan in the study and the involvement of the stakeholders was also analyzed in the report. At the end of the report, there was analyzation of the tool which bests suits the implementation of the new software in the company.
